The conference is organized by 6 ISF-P European Commission funded projects:
• Rhizome against Polarization (RaP)
• Cooperative Harmonized Action Model to Stop Polarization in our Nations (Champions)
• Strengthening European Youngsters Resilience through Serious Games (YoungRes)
• Integrated Exit Program for Prison and Probation (WayOut)
• Building Resilience to Reduce Polarization and Growing Extremism (Bridge)
• A Radical Model for Resilience for Young Minds (ARMOUR)
This will be the first time when six ISF-P European Commission Funded projects under the same “Radicalization” line organize a Joint Online Conference, and it will also be the biggest event on this topic of 2021. In addition to the “lead organizers“ responsible for technical and administrative preparation of the conference, more than 30 universities, institutions, organizations and agencies are so far partners of the conference.
The aim of the conference is to bring together practitioners, (regional and national) authorities, the European Commission, civil society organizations and policymakers in a series of workshops, plenary sessions and ‘policy and practitioners forums’ to allow practical exploration and exchange of lessons learned, best practices, innovations in the field, tools for practitioners, and explore new frontiers and ways forward to improve policy and practice.
Topics include engaging youth through game-based learning and prevention work, tools for building individual resilience against radicalization and extremism through education, city-based approaches in multi-agency collaboration, the role of gender in extremism, and tech innovations in prevention work.
